This year our Addenbrooke’s Cause is the Palliative Care Unit, which will share the net funds raised equally with Linton Health Centre Community Fund and Bartlow Church Restoration Fund.

Walk options

With the routes refreshed for 2015, we will offer four walks through beautiful local countryside taking in Europe's largest Iron Age Roman burial site at the Bartlow Hills, including:

  • The ‘Classic’ 13½-mile Three Counties Walk, to the point where Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex meet, and back.
  • The 9 and 6 mile ‘Family Routes’ for those who see 13½ miles as too challenging.
  • The popular 1½-mile Nature Trail for the young and the young at heart.

All walks are almost entirely off-road, well signed, offer en-route hospitality and are only available through special agreement with local landowners, making them unique to the Bartlow Three-Counties Charity Walk

Dogs are welcome on all walks!

We will have the usual the après-Walk activities including food, drinks, live music and plenty of activities for the kids, including a bouncy castle and face painting.

Minimum 'on the day' self-sponsorship with free parking included:

  • 13, 9 and 6 Mile Walks: £10 per adult, £5 per child (4-12yrs)
  • Nature Trail: £5 for everyone but under 4's walk free!

Alternatively, download a sponsorship form and start asking your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you.

Starts at 10am in the Paddock, Bartlow (CB21 4PW). Registration for the main walks 9.30am to 11.30am and for the Junior Nature Trail 10.00am to 2pm.
