Thurleigh Youth Club was opened in March 2006 following a consultation with residents and young people. The brain child of four teenage boys, Matthew, Ben, Liam and Beau a management committee was formed and the creation of the club was underway.  After successfully receiving National Lottery funding games and activity materials were purchased and we have every since gone from strength to strength.

We aim to provide young people from year 4 in Thurleigh & surrounding villages a regular meeting place to play games and to have fun in a safe & secure environment. The club meets fortnightly in the local village hall for structured group/individual activities. Activities include craft & design (glass painting, tye dye tee shirts, painting, airfix model making etc), computer games (Wii & PS3 consoles/games), competitions, radio control car racing, pool, table football, air hockey, table tennis and lots more.

In the summer months we use the local playing field for outdoor activities including football, rounder’s and cricket.   We are also aiming to structured activities during the school holidays, look at our events calendar for more information.
